Sara Matson

effusive burn

she was a
canterbury slut +
relished every moaning
ruche of fabric
as it hit the floor in
successful conquest

the dragging scratch of
thick matchhead to brick
indecent ignition tugging
checkboard silk over
pinheads snagging to an
immersive boil

lit by so many sparklers
clenched w/
non-violence
leather dripping down
cracked scapula
swirling into mesh
weighted at the knees,
clutching and falling
and falling
